History
In January 1999, Jiaxing Hengwei Battery Co., Ltd. was founded, embarking on the specialized development of zinc-manganese batteries.
In May 2007, the company relocated to the current site and launched its new plant, further improving production and operation conditions and laying a solid foundation for subsequent large-scale development.
In May 2017, Hengwei Battery (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. was established. It improved the overseas sales and service system and provided strong support for the continuous expansion of the international market.
In June 2017, the company was restructured into Zhejiang Hengwei Battery Co., Ltd. It further improved the corporate governance structure, marking a new stage of standardized and large-scale development.
In March 9, 2022, Zhejiang Hengwei was officially listed on the ChiNext Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, with the stock code 301222, opening a new chapter of development in the capital market.
In January 2023, Hengwei Singapore was established. It optimizes the Company’s overseas investment structure and provides important support for overseas industrial expansion and global resource allocation.
In May 2023, Hengwei Vietnam was established. As the implementing entity, it advances the construction of the high-performance eco-friendly alkaline and carbon battery project. This marks the start of the Company’s overseas production base construction, extending our global layout from marketing and investment to manufacturing.
In 2025, Hengwei Vietnam, Zhejiang Hengwei’s first overseas production base, was officially put into operation. It marks that the Company’s overseas industrial layout has entered a new stage of production and operation from investment and construction, further improving its global manufacturing and supply system.
